Abstract (reductive) painting, with elements of hyperrealism.

As with its counterpart, the “expressive” abstract-inspired painting, this “reductive” abstract-inspired painting was heavily influenced by my love for music and the way it emanates feelings when played or heard.  A cloud of energy that makes you feel alive, and other made-up emotions, follow when listening to music. The RED, full of vibrance, full of emotion, like all the excitement that runs through your veins when you hear your favourite songs played live. Here my guitar lay, in a pool of velvet-like magic, exuding nothing but what dreams are made of—for music can transport you anywhere. I share the escapism with my guitar, as it wields power in its ability to transform one’s mind—floating away as though there was no life to leave behind.
